Weekly Shonen Jump group photo tradition

If their bus were to plunge off a cliff, *Shonen Jump* would lose all its mangaka and be finished. that exact thought is what made the group stop their annual hot spring trips where they used to party hard together back in the eighties. the artists who took group photos during those decades suddenly ended the tradition immediately after hearing this warning about losing everyone at once. it feels genuinely sad that such a unique industry bonding moment vanished because of one dark prediction about the magazine's survival.
