Pakistan solar panel boom

Electricity rates in Pakistan have skyrocketed, and the response is coming from regular people rather than any government program. Households and businesses are borrowing money, sometimes going into debt, just to buy solar panels. The math works out because those panels generate power at a cheaper rate than what the grid charges. A people-driven boom, and the bills explain why.
