The way this fandom treats one of its own members has stopped being subtle. Jimin is the one who keeps getting the short end, and it's not even hidden anymore. Indifference when he accomplishes something. A different set of rules applied to him. His wins treated like they don't count. That's the pattern, and it's been the pattern for a long time. What gets me is how quickly some people drop their manners the second his name comes up. Fairness goes out the window. Respect too. But there's always room for envy and jokes at his expense. Always energy for that. Here's the thing though. None of that shrinks what he's done. His success doesn't need their approval to exist. And going quiet about him doesn't make his contributions disappear either. He earned his place through his own talent and his own work, not because anyone decided to throw him a compliment. He doesn't need to be talked down to or praised like it's a favor. I need to be clear about something. This isn't about hating BTS. I'm not trying to turn the members against each other. That's not what this is. What it is, is disappointment. Real disappointment in a chunk of this fandom that keeps forgetting Jimin is part of BTS too. That he should get the same support and respect as everyone else. You can call yourself ARMY all you want, but saying the word unity over and over doesn't mean anything if some members are left out of it. And the selectivity is what really shows it. For other members, somehow there's always money. Always opportunities. Always people ready to put together big projects. But for Jimin's birthday? Suddenly there's nothing. No funds. Jimin ends up being the one without a project. That's not an accident. That's a choice. Meanwhile his solo fans are out here doing the work. Organizing. Raising money. Putting in the hours and the effort and the heart. Not because they want anyone's approval. Not to compare him to anyone. Not to prove a point. They do it because they love him. That's it. So when I see that next to all the talk about unity, the gap is obvious. The love his solo fans show him is real. The unity some people claim is just words. Actions versus declarations. The difference isn't hard to spot. Don't hide behind unity if it only works for some. Don't say you love all seven if there's always a reason one of them gets less. He shouldn't be loved with whatever's left over. He shouldn't only get attention when it's easy. And his fans shouldn't have to stay quiet while their effort gets dismissed. Talk about unity if that's what you want to do. We'll keep showing up for Jimin. Keep building things for him. Keep proving through what we actually do what some people can only say. Love isn't loud words. It's what you do. And the line between the real thing and the fake thing has never been clearer
