Latvia woman sentenced 6 years over 43 euros

Six years behind bars in Latvia, and the whole case comes down to 43 euros. A court there convicted a woman of sending that money to the Russian army, with the transfer routed through an intermediary in Belarus. According to the ruling, the cash was meant to buy gear that jams drones for Russian troops fighting in Ukraine. The legal grounds: financing an armed conflict and backing the Russian army.
