Eraring Power Station in Australia is set to shut down its largest coal facility by 2029, with renewable energy sources stepping in to take its place. There is a proposal on the table to repurpose the site into what could become the world's biggest battery storage hub, designed specifically to make storing and distributing green power much more efficient. #Australia
