Ronaldo Jesus Pelé Maradona Brazil

The escalating tension between Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Jesus centers on a speech Ronaldo reportedly authorized, demanding an apology for the incident involving Pelé and Maradona. The core of the dispute is Jorge Jesus admitting he made a mistake by sending someone of the caliber of Pelé or Maradona to warm up without putting them into the match, noting that if it were today, he wouldn't do it. Despite this admission, Jorge Jesus did not issue a public apology. Instead, he reportedly emphasized his authority as coach by stating he is in charge here. This refusal to apologize has fueled the growing conflict, leaving the situation with the Portuguese national team figures in a state of unresolved friction.
