1X Technologies NEO home robot

1X Technologies has a humanoid robot in the works called NEO, and the whole pitch is that it handles the stuff around the house you'd rather not do. Watering plants, emptying the dishwasher, even fielding simple questions through its AI. Not a factory machine either, this one is meant for actual living spaces, so the movements are slowed down and the body is padded and softer to keep things safe around people. It can pick up and haul objects that weigh as much as 25 kilograms, and a charge gets you roughly four hours before it needs to plug back in. Home robot doing chores instead of factory work, man.
