Jensen Ackles Batman DCU speculation

When asked if Jensen Ackles is the next Dark Knight, his reply wasn't a simple yes or no. Instead of saying 'That's up to James Gunn,' he just said 'Every night.' This follows his earlier stance that he was waiting for James Gunn to reach out, noting he would 'cross off' any requests and stating he'd 'love to play Batman someday.' He even added, 'Just say the word.' Now Ackles has started following James Gunn on Instagram, which has only ramped up speculation about him landing the role in the DCU.
