Elnaz Shakerdoost Iran sentencing

The Iranian Revolutionary Court just sentenced actress Elnaz Shakerdoost to a year in prison plus a two-year ban on acting, posting, and public life. The charge? She posted an Instagram story showing sympathy for people killed during January's violent crackdown. The court decided that human mourning counts as propaganda against the system. This level of paranoid cruelty from the regime is wild.
