Rio Ferdinand on Cristiano Ronaldo

Rio Ferdinand gets genuinely annoyed when people judge Cristiano Ronaldo solely on his last three or four years, especially since he's still putting up staggering numbers for someone his age. The defender argues that no matter what league you're playing in, those stats remain impressive and shouldn't be ignored. He pushes back hard against the idea that recent form defines the whole legacy, asking why we forget where Portugal was before him, had they ever qualified for tournaments, let alone won them? It feels like a lot of folks need to actually go back and look at what he did at Juventus alone, then revisit his time at Real Madrid, and finally check when he was at Manchester United. That's not just one career; it's like three different world-class careers happening within a single timeline. #CristianoRonaldo
