Displaced persons evicted in Djugu Ituri

Gratien Iracan, the elected representative from Bunia, has flagged a serious incident in Ituri where displaced persons were kicked out of their camp in Djugu territory. The national deputy is demanding that the Congolese government step up and assume full responsibility for what happened to these people. He's specifically urging the Minister of the Interior to head over to the site immediately to see the situation firsthand. As Iracan put it bluntly, "The State should take its responsibilities" when it comes to protecting those who have nowhere else to go.
