Taylor Gosnell Cowpens South Carolina charges

The thing about the Cowpens story that stays with you isn't the mugshot, it's the paperwork. Taylor Gosnell had child endangerment charges pending from 2024. Somebody already flagged that house. Somebody already knew. And a 3 year old and a 6 year old were still in there when police arrived, alone, with blood on them. The 35 year old is charged with two counts of attempted murdɛr. According to the account of what happened, a knife and a blunt object were used on her own kids. Roughly 50 stab wounds total between the two of them, and some of those went as deep as the bone. Her son, the 6 year old, may lose fingers. He may lose an arm. Not a stranger. Their mother. The system saw the warning signs and did nothing, and that part is the part nobody will be held accountable for.
