RONALDINHO: 'At Milan, free kicks were not won by name, they were won by training. With guys like Beckham, Pirlo, and me on the same team, the only fair way to decide who took them was to demonstrate it in practice. No hierarchies, no fame, no whims. Every week, in training, everything was measured. Whoever scored more, took the shot on the weekend. And that's it. Pirlo was lethal from long range, Beckham had surgical precision with his unique style, and I... I had my zone: close to the box, with more angle than power. Each of us knew from where we were most dangerous. We respected each other a lot. But on the pitch, that respect wasn't enough: you had to perform. And yes, I almost always won.
