China's 3,247,000 tonnes is the number that stops you, and it works out to 35.90% of the 9,044,885 tonnes reported worldwide. Mozambique is next at 1,829,500, then South Africa at 1,010,000. Australia comes in at 536,500, Canada at 470,000, Madagascar at 308,800, Norway at 290,660, Senegal at 239,960, Kenya at 169,980, India at 150,000, Ukraine at 147,700, Sierra Leone at 142,490, Vietnam at 114,500, South Korea at 110,120, the United States at 100,000, Brazil at 79,220, Sri Lanka at 31,665, and Iran at 20,100. Malaysia and Nigeria close out the twenty at 15,600 and 14,100, and the top twenty together make up about 99.81% of the reported total.
