Cash Wheeler Dax Harwood The New Level AEW

Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood were the ones screaming for The New Level to get into AEW, pushing hard to make them part of the tag division because they have worked with those guys so much. That history is deep enough that their main roster debut was literally knocking over an ice cream cart together while FTR was there. It goes back even further than that though, with Wheeler claiming he has known Austin Creed since 2008 or 9 from when they were both grinding on independent shows in Georgia. There is a reason why Wheeler thinks this move works so well beyond just the talent level. He points out that AEW offers a tier of tag teams you don't find elsewhere along with actual creative freedom that lets people just have fun again. When you are more in the driver's seat regarding how a match plays out and what you can do, it becomes a lot of fun instead of feeling forced. He isn't trying to throw shade at anyone else but being able to control the direction makes a massive difference in the experience. Wheeler knew all along those guys would end up here because they are genuinely likable individuals who bring positive energy. That kind of vibe is exactly what the company needs more of.
