Muggsy Bogues NBA underdog story

The greatest underdog story in NBA history belongs to a man who stood 5 feet 3 inches. Muggsy Bogues grew up in the East Baltimore projects, was shot at age five, watched his father go to prison for twenty years on an armed robbery charge when he was twelve, and had a brother battling drug addiction. In an era that treated size as the entry fee, none of that stopped him. He put in fourteen seasons in the league, became the shortest player ever to do it, and made $18 million along the way. Honestly, no other underdog tale stands taller.
