    🦸Clarice Starling🦸Hannibal Lecter⭐Anthony Hopkins

The Silence Of The Lambs Anthony Hopkins Jodie Foster

Hollywood sold Clarice Starling as the hero, but she's actually the real antagonist in The Silence Of The Lambs. She weaponizes a serial killer's intellect to climb the ladder and gets away with it because the studio polished her actions until they looked noble. Hannibal Lecter isn't the villain here; he's just the only honest person in the room. The film dropped in 1991 and took home Best Picture while making every other entry in the psychological thriller genre look like a children's book by comparison. A young FBI trainee walks into a maximum-security cell to ask a cannibal for help catching another monster. He agrees on one condition: she has to tell him her darkest secrets. What follows is still the most elegant mind game ever put on screen. Ted Tally wrote the screenplay, Howard Shore handled the music, and Robert Gibson did the editing.
