Thomas Matthew Crooks cremation donor

Federal notes handed to Sen. Grassley describe an "anonymous donor" covering the cremation of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man who tried to assassinate Trump at Butler. That money moved days after the attempt, per the NY Post's Samuel. What the family file leans on: Crooks' dad had no job at the time, and his mom was out on leave, so the household, the paperwork implies, wasn't in position to float that kind of bill. Which leaves the obvious pair of questions hanging. Who covered it, and why?
