Fabián Ruiz Ballon d'Or candidate

Fabián Ruiz is running for the Ballon d'Or and he's making a serious case that his trophy count beats everyone else in the race. He admits to missing three months of play because of an injury but insists that gap won't tank his voting chances since his titles speak for themselves. The player dropped a direct quote saying, "In terms of titles, no one has done better." He also noted he came back just in time to be crucial during key moments for both Paris Saint-Germain and the national team without even asking voters for their support. His stance on the massive competition was clear when he stated, "Let them vote for those they believe deserve it most. I am already proud to be nominated." This report comes from France Football.
