Michael Carrick on Champions League nights

that line from michael carrick about champions league nights at manchester united hits different. he told the players before kickoff that this club has lifted this trophy before, so they already understand what these evenings are supposed to feel like. at the break he knew the football wasnt pretty. his message stayed the same though, you dont need to be perfect every night, the win is the only thing that counts. 3-0 up when he said it. the past is already written, and carrick says the job now is writing whatever comes next #MichaelCarrick #ManchesterUnitedFC
