Will Ospreay kicks out of One-Winged Angel

Kenny Omega has guarded the One-Winged Angel for fourteen years, keeping it locked down until Will Ospreay became the second man ever to kick out of it. Before that, only Kota Ibushi, his long-time tag partner, had survived the move. Ospreay recalls how their original strategy, Plan A, fell apart when someone else pulled off the kick in a different match, forcing a switch to Plan B. That backup plan involved taking the One-Winged Angel, kicking out at one, hitting a Stormbreaker, kicking out at one again, and then closing it out. While he felt proud executing that revised sequence, the real moment that will never leave him is Kenny allowing him to survive the signature move. Ospreay points out the history behind this concession, noting Omega's past feuds with Okada, Tana, Ibushi, and Hangman, yet choosing to save this specific vulnerability for Ospreay alone. It stands as one of the biggest honors and accomplishments he has received as a performer.
