The idea of Sergio Agüero and Leo sharing a pitch was always the dream, yet it never happened. Manchester City made moves to bring Lionel Messi in while Agüero pushed him toward Barça, but the two legends never actually trained together during that era. Messi had promised Agüero they would link up soon before he left for a new chapter, telling him not to worry about the timing.
