Alan Shearer on Sir Alex Ferguson

Alan Shearer thinks Sir Alex Ferguson would still be the best manager globally today, but only because he'd adapt. The comparison lands on how top players from the 70s through the 90s evolved their styles to stay relevant in changing eras. Shearer isn't convinced Ferguson could maintain authority by ruling much by fear like he did back then. Yet the conclusion holds that despite potential changes in methods, his ability to adjust means he'd remain unmatched anywhere in the world.
