Trump Micron $10 Billion Investment

confirms Micron is pouring another $10 billion into new U.S. research labs designed for AI and advanced computing. This fresh capital stacks on top of the company's earlier $250 billion commitment to American soil, a massive pledge covering semiconductor manufacturing and R&D expected to sustain tens of thousands of jobs. Trump frames this as a major win for returning critical tech to domestic production, stating directly: "We are bringing Critical Technologies BACK to the U.S.A." The broader reality is that the global AI race has transformed into an infrastructure contest where the goal is keeping chips, research facilities, and factories on American ground.
