Kiko Casilla on Cristiano Ronaldo's kindness

Kiko Casilla says returning to Real Madrid after his stint at Espanyol didn't faze him as much as people expected. Sharing a locker room with Cristiano, Bale, Ramos, Modrić, and Kroos felt familiar because he had trained with them when he was younger. During Capello's era, Kiko traveled with the first team alongside Beckham, Ronaldo, and the rest of the Galácticos, so that sense of amazement was something he had already experienced before. What truly left a mark on Kiko was getting to know Cristiano in daily life. He describes him doesn't just think about himself, noting that Cristiano pays attention to everyone, even the last boy from the B team. As an example, before a pre-season trip to the United States, Cristiano bought iPhones and Apple Watches for the entire staff, including security and props people. He did this without cameras or fuss. According to Kiko, Cristiano is detail-oriented, grateful, and above all, very human.
