Pepe on defending and respect

Pepe opens up on what defending really demands. For years the labels got thrown around, but most people don't grasp the grind. Weakness has no spot on the pitch. Every 50-50 turns into a fight and he's always locked in to come out on top. Mistakes happened, no question, yet respect came too. Not through words but by refusing to back down. When the match goes ugly he's the one who stays visible. Some won't get it but that's still love for the game.
