NYT opinion BTS Grammys reckoning

The New York Times dropped an opinion piece calling out the Grammys and the Recording Academy for filtering artists through race and language. They point out that the biggest Asian entertainment companies might not push back on principle, but BTS, maybe the biggest act since Jackson, could be the only Korean recording act with the leverage to force a reckoning. The piece argues every artist, BTS to Bad Bunny, should get a real shot at the largest market without being sidelined or made to qualify through some invented category.
