Jesus and Suzanne Valle family ❤️

Jesus and Suzanne Valle already had nine grown kids and a quiet life waiting in Blue Creek, Ohio. The opioid crisis changed everything. Suzanne’s brother and sister-in-law fell into addiction, and their four children were headed for the foster system. The Valles brought them home instead. Later, two more kids from the community joined them after losing parents to the same epidemic. The household swelled to fifteen. Suzanne is honest with them: “We tell the children their parents do love them, they just aren’t able to take care of them right now.” She doesn’t miss the empty nest. “I don’t know if we would be as happy without all these kids. Kids bring happiness.” Jesus never looks for praise. “I never expect anybody to praise me. Things change, but I don’t mind. I think we did the right thing.” A full house in a town marked by loss, and a family built on love ❤️
