Trump administration worries over weapons stockpile

The Trump administration is privately worried about how fast the U.S. is burning through top-tier interceptors and precision weapons. Patriots, THAAD interceptors, and long-range missiles are being used faster than industry can restock. Commanders are switching to cheaper guided bombs to save the expensive stuff. Inventory meant for the Indo-Pacific has been pulled to the Middle East, thinning readiness against China. Sec. Hegseth says the arsenal is strong, but the internal concern is real.
