The list includes the Roman Legions at number one, followed by the Ottoman Janissaries, Mongol Cavalry, Spanish Tercios, Samurai, US Navy SEALs, Spartan Hoplites, British SAS, Mongol Horse Archers, Praetorian Guard, and the Varangian Guard.
