@jolyon🚨🇵🇱 BREAKING: Poland’s police were reportedly told to gear up with riot gear and submachine guns for Nov. 2 to 8, a day before they stormed the country’s top court Opposition MP Sławomir Mentzen posted the letter, dated Oct. 29 and signed by the deputy police chief, ordering every regional commander onto high alert for that week. Police haven’t confirmed it. The next day officers secured the Constitutional Tribunal after its PiS-appointed head was suspended, protesters threw objects at them, and President Nawrocki turned his plane around mid-flight to Senegal. Tusk says he’s fixing courts PiS rigged for years. PiS says it’s a coup. If that letter is real, the government saw this week coming and planned for it, which tells you how ugly the next eight days in Warsaw could get. Source: TabzLIVE Fox News, AP / Writer: Daniel
