UN inquiry report on Gaza and West Bank

@jolyonDenials from Israel haven't shifted: a misinformation campaign is the label for this UN commission report, per Reuters and Daniyal, just as the earlier genocide finding got slammed as scandalous. What the inquiry actually documents is that Gaza's killing carried on past the truce. Through the pause that began last October, the commission says densely populated areas were still struck by artillery, snipers, drones and heavy weaponry. And the line Israel presented as a temporary ceasefire boundary keeps pushing deeper into Gaza, inching toward a de facto border. The West Bank numbers are just as bleak: since October 2023, airstrikes alone have killed 254 Palestinians, against 6 over the 15 years prior. The genocide continues, and so do the same denials.

The image is a split screen. On the left is the United Nations building with many flags in front. On the right is a scene of widespread destruction with rubble and damaged buildings. The mood is stark and contrasting, highlighting a juxtaposition of peace and devastation. The text "UNITED NATIONS NATIONS UNIES" is visible above the entrance on the left.
