@savageupdatesThe zero row is what gets me on this CIA World Factbook (2025) airport count for 44 European countries. Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City all clock in at nothing. Above them Malta scrapes together 1, and Albania and Luxembourg are level on 3. Montenegro has 5, Moldova 10, North Macedonia 13, Bosnia and Herzegovina 20, Estonia 34, Slovenia 42. Belgium sits on 48, Croatia 45, and Belarus and Serbia deadlock at 46. Latvia 55, Austria 62, Lithuania 64, Switzerland 66, then Greece and Iceland tied on 82. Finland rounds out the top twenty at 98, Ireland 100, Denmark 102, Romania 103, Bulgaria 107, Hungary 109, Slovakia 116, Portugal 128. Norway on 146, Ukraine 152, Sweden 206, Czechia 252, Poland 318, Spain 365. Italy clears the lot of those at 655, Germany 840, Russia 905, United Kingdom 1,057, and France runs away with the whole board on 1,218. Ranked biggest to smallest, if you were wondering.
