The first leg had ended in a 2-2 draw with Zlatan scoring two goals for Barcelona as an away team, but he could not play the second match. Before that return game, he went to Lionel Messi and told him it was his turn to carry the team on his shoulders since Zlatan had already done his part with those two beautiful goals. Messi responded by delivering an incredible performance in the return leg, netting four goals to finish the job. After the match, the interaction flipped when Messi congratulated Zlatan and stated that today Zlatan had been better than him.
