@anderson_joshuaA nose that points the wrong way for rain is apparently enough to make a whole species miserable in a downpour. The snub-nosed monkey of Myanmar, a rare primate, has that upturned snout going for it, which means any drop that lands in those open nostrils can set off a sneeze. So when the weather turns wet, these monkeys have been seen tucking their heads down between their knees, keeping the water out of their noses the only way they can. That's the whole trick, and it seems to work.
