@FootynewsOnly three players from Bayern Munich have ever won the Ballon d'Or while playing for the club, and none of them did it after Karl-Heinz Rummenigge took the prize in 1981. The list is short: Gerd Müller back in 1970, Franz Beckenbauer with wins in 1972 and 1976, and Rummenigge closing out the streak in 1980 and 1981. That leaves a 45-year gap where no player from Bayern Munich has brought the trophy home. Harry Kane might finally return the Ballon d'Or to FC Bayern München after that long dry spell, but can he actually break the streak and make history?
