@jess_coreThe timeline of Samoa Joe's career shift starts with a second firing from WWE that left the morning difficult to explain in just a few weeks. He told his wife he had been let go and she responded by saying it would be alright, citing their prayers and the belief that God would handle the situation. Years later, Samoa Joe recalled having confidence in her reassurance, knowing she was right about how things would work out. Fast forward four hours after the firing event, a phone call arrived regarding the TV show Twisted Metal from a friend he hadn't spoken to for fifteen years. The caller proposed that Samoa Joe star in a new Peacock TV show and requested an audition tape to see if he was the right guy for the job. He accepted the opportunity and began starring in Twisted Metal, which led him back into the room to inform his wife that he was now starring in a TV series. She confirmed her earlier prediction that everything would work out, proving her faith was justified all along. (Craig Altman of Grace Family Church)
