    📱Chris Hansen📺To Catch a Predator🎬Dracula Untold
    PRIMETIME as a Dracula adaptation

@professional_portalStart with the years, because that's where the thesis gets its teeth: Bram Stoker's novel landed in 1897, right as one century handed off to the next, and To Catch a Predator debuted in 2004, right as the internet and reality TV were rewriting what a public life even looked like. Two very different eras, two very different monsters, and in both cases the monster is really a symbol of a world that wouldn't sit still. That's the lens through which 'PRIMETIME' starts to make a different kind of sense. Not a Chris Hansen biography. An adaptation of Dracula. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. The logo is clue number one. Those two pointed M's read an awful lot like fangs, and the person who designed the logo was reportedly contacted about the resemblance and confirmed it was intentional. From there the parallels stack up. Dracula pulls victims toward him through dreams. Hansen pulls targets toward him through online conversations, and they walk right into the trap. Dracula rules his own domain. Hansen, for a big chunk of the film, rules the sting houses. And Hansen's entrance reportedly echoes the opening of the 1931 'Dracula'. What all of that adds up to is the part worth chewing on. The movie isn't handing over a clean history of the man. It's building him into a mythological figure, which is a much stranger and more interesting move than a straight biopic would be. Both Dracula and the To Catch a Predator era become symbols of the worlds changing around them. That's the whole argument.

The focus is a silhouette of Batman against a bright blue background. He is standing with his head turned to the side, looking down, and his cape is flowing dramatically. The mood is dark and epic, fitting for a superhero. A notable detail is the sharp, pointed ears of Batman's cowl. ON-SCREEN TEXT: POSTER BY @SCENEINCINEMA PRIMETIME
