@hye1nDarby Allin finally opened up on Close Up with Renee Paquette about his initial skepticism toward Steven Borden joining the wrestling world. Back when Borden first stepped in, Allin had no idea what was actually going on and wondered if the guy just wanted to be famous after getting a tiny taste of Revolution by jumping on someone and grabbing some notoriety. He was genuinely confused because he thought Borden might not even understand what this life demands: being away from family, the insane dedication, the time spent, the physical pain, and everything else that goes into it. Allin kept asking if Borden was serious or if he knew what he was walking into, especially since he was leaving an amazing career behind where failing now would make the fall so much harder. But then Allin watched closely over time and saw how dedicated and serious Borden truly was until the reasons for why he was in it started feeling like all the right ones. The passion was there, and what he was willing to put on the line for his family was undeniable. It became such an incredible scene that Allin just told him dude let's get it.
