@jolyonDetroit is getting pulled into the missile business. General Motors has begun turning out components for Lockheed Martin's PAC-3 MSE interceptors, and the reason is straightforward: the U.S. has gone through a lot of high-end air-defense missiles in Ukraine and the Iran conflict. GM's first batch of parts shipped in August. According to Lockheed Martin, work that would normally eat months of fabrication was finished in three weeks. The Pentagon's target is annual Patriot production rising from roughly 600 to 2,000 by the end of 2030. Supply chain constraints are still the choke point. An advanced interceptor costs more than $4 million, and manufacturing and delivery can take over two years. Source: WSJ / Writer: Sol

The focus is on the GM logo and the American flag. The GM logo is a prominent blue sign with the letters "GM" in a metallic finish, mounted on a building. The American flag is waving in the background, creating a patriotic and corporate aesthetic. The image has a professional and official style. The reflective surface of the GM sign and the movement of the flag are visually notable.
