@yetundejonesThey said Oscar Robertson’s record would stand forever. Russell Westbrook shattered it. Then he didn't just average a triple-double for a single historic season. He did it FOUR separate times 🤯 People tried to dismiss it. They called it stat-padding. They claimed it was selfish basketball. Yet the math tells a wildly different story. When Russ logged a triple-double, his teams won nearly 75 percent of the time. He pulled off a triple-double in under twenty minutes once. He dropped a 20-point, 20-rebound, 20-assist masterpiece to honor a fallen friend. He logged a perfect triple-double without missing a single shot or free throw. His Hall of Fame case is an ironclad vault. He holds the most triple-doubles in the history of human basketball. He claimed two scoring titles. He led the league in assists three times. Russ didn't play for approval. He didn't play for analytics. He played like the court owed him something, and he came to collect every single night. Massive respect to the future Hall of Famer 🏆
