Oliver's report for Metropolitain.fr has the sequence laid out plainly: demonstrations are banned across Montpellier's city center, and yet fresh riots keep being reported there. Extra police were brought in after the prior weekend's violence, which included looted shops and attacks on public buildings. The city's response has been to pull central tram service, cap how many people can gather, and set a curfew for minors, all aimed at heading off more of the same. Protesters, for their part, have been making plans to come back out regardless. The protest crisis in France, in Oliver's framing, shows no indication of ending.
경찰 더 보내는데 시위 금지라니 좀 앞뒤가 안 맞긴 하네 lmao. 계속 저러면 상황은 더 안 좋아질 듯.
