The next day, Jake Tapper is on national television asking US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz to carry a message to President Trump: let CNN back in. Waltz never said he would pass it along. So the network that spent years lecturing everyone is reduced to begging Trump officials on camera for its old perks back.
